Woking Borough Council

Woking Borough Council is looking for a confident and reliable individual to join the busy Electoral Services Team. You will be required to support the organisation of elections and referendums in Woking.

The main duties of the role are to support the maintenance of the electoral register; process new applications and deal with queries from members of the public, as well as general administration for the elections and referenda, including preparing documentation for polling stations and election counts.

In this post, the ability to work accurately to legal deadlines and excellent IT skills are essential, as is an eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for this post.  An assessment may be required. If you have any queries or would like to discuss this further, please contact the Human Resources team.
