Woking Borough Council are seeking an experienced and dedicated candidate to assist our Head Cook in providing a lunch time and coffee bar service for the customers of St Marys. 

The ideal candidate will:

-      have experience of working in a commercial kitchen

-      have experience in working to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety

-      be enthusiastic about producing well cooked and presented food.

Training will be provided to help you manage the kitchen in the Head Cook’s absence. 

Upon successful completion of the probationary period, you will work towards achieving a job specific work based qualification as part of your ongoing learning and development. (Please include details of qualification, if known) 

As this job involves contact with vulnerable groups, successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Assistance will be given by the Council and further details will be in the job application pack. Woking Borough Council take a robust approach to thoroughly checking anyone who has applied to work with vulnerable groups.
