We are transforming our services at Woking and are recruiting for several new exciting and challenging roles in our Housing Assets Team. We are seeking motivated and flexible candidate who can achieve high standards to support the delivery of front-line services and to improve our homes whilst ensuring we are able to meet the requirements of the regulatory standards.

Working within the Compliance section of the Housing Assets Team you will have a high level of involvement in managing a wide range of compliance and mechanical and electrical related contracts delivering necessary improvements and maintaining high levels of compliance.

We have a number of new contracts that will require strong contract management and you will be highly influential in leading on reactive and planned capital replacements in a variety of areas as well as helping to  develop a forward plan and longer term strategy as we work towards developing our carbon neutral strategy.

This role will require a blend of hands on and technical/strategic input and it is vital that you are able to work cross departmentally within a multifunctional medium size housing team to delver the very best service possible for our residents.

A full Driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.  

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The Council will offer assistance and further details will be in the job application pack.
